사단법인 소울러브피플 국제 NGO 구호단체는 6일 서울시 강서구 마곡동에 위치한 (사)소울러브피플 본사에서 임직원 및 관계자들이 참석한 가운데 ‘2024년 제4차 정기총회’를 개최하였다.

(사)소울러브피플은 지구촌 저개발국가에 의약품 및 생필품을 지원해 주며, 교육과 봉사활동 등의 구호활동을 하는 비영리 단체이다.

 2000년에 작은 움직임으로 시작된 (사)소울러브피플은 2021년 대한민국 외교부 소속 사단법인으로 정식 등록되어 더 많은 국내외 소외된 사람들을 돌보는 사역을 담당하고 있다.

이날 정기총회에는 총회 행사 전 예배를 통해 진정한 이웃을 사랑하고 섬기는 마음을 되새기는 뜻깊은 시간을 갖었으며, 인천큰열매교회 김진규 목사님은 하나님의 기업이라는 제목의 설교 말씀을 황금과 유향과 몰약을 드림과 같이 (사)소울러브피플이 진심어린 섬김을 통해 주변의 소외되고 가낭한 이웃을 돌보는 하나님의 기업이 되기를 기원하였다.

또한, 문화예술총연합회 이운찬 회장은 축사를 통해 (사)소울러브피플의 총회를 축하하며 앞으로 더 많은 사람들이 동참해 주시길 당부하였으며, 유희덕 목사는 격려사를 통해 합력하여 선을 이루는 단체가 되기를 권면하였다.

또한, (사)서울러브피플 홍보단장을 맡고 있는 이주호 단장은 지금까지는 홍보 활동을 혼자서 많이 진행해 왔으나 오늘 참여한 모든 사람들이 동참해 주기를 당부하며 홍보에 더욱 힘쓰자는 결의를 다지기도 했다.

2부 순서로 진행된 총회 시간에는 23년도 사업과 결산 보고를 통해 캄보디아, 필리핀의 의약품 전달, 학교 방문, 정부기관과의 협력 MOU체결, 구호 활동 등 해외 활동에 대한 보고뿐만 아니라 우크라이나 합창단 대한민국 방문 협력, 어르신 의료봉사 및 다문화 가정초청 자선 음악회 등 다양한 국내 활동에 대한 결과 보고도 진행되었다.

 이어서 진행된 24년 올해 사업은 이미 1분기에 진행되었던 강원청소년동계올릭픽 의약품 후원과 일본 이시카와현의 노토반도 지진 긴급 구호 활동 결과 보고를 하였고, 올해 확대된 후원 및 활동계획을 통해 한단계 더 도약하는 (사)소울러브피플이 될 것임을 다짐하였다.

특별히 이번 정기총회에서는 올해부터 함께 협력하게 될 신임 김영찬 사무총장에 대한 소개와 위촉장 수여도 진행되었다.
